Since a lot of you know I'm not the best at communication, I decided to start a blog! I added some of the emails that I sent in the beginning too so that those of you who are new to baby Brady's journey can read the whole story here. One day i'll explain to baby brady what a blog is and remind him what a troublemaker he was starting in the womb. Now the pressure is on to keep these updates worth reading. So here goes...
We are now at 29 weeks and 3 days which is a total of 11 days here and believe it or not its flown by! How could that be- do you ask? Because I think I was destined to live the bed rest life. Think about it... I love to sleep in, watch tv, be lazy, am getting waited on all day long and don't really like the outdoors. I'm kind of in heaven.
It also helps that the visitors and treats keep coming! I am being spoiled rotten! Thanks for all the encouragement and treats from SF, Texas, Auburn and all our friends across the country. And as I mentioned in one of my earlier posts- I will never ever complain again that I have no seattle friends (but anyone not from SF should ignore the part about SF transplants!). We are so overwhelmed by all the support we've received and can't thank everyone enough for visiting but here goes... Thanks a million to Kristin, Erin B, the Shreters, the Alexanders, the streutker-molloys, the Drakes, Stephanie, Tara, Mary, Ming, Sweta, Whitney, Lisa, Kathleen, the Kriegels, Susannah, Kris Stafie, Hana, Franni, Erin Q, Colleen and our doula Debra! I really hope I didn't forget anyone but with my prego brain these days I'm sure I did. I will apologize profusely and make up for it as soon as I remember. I have done a bad job of photo documenting all of my visitors but will do a better job. Below is a pic of the work girls. We have a pizza club every month and they were sweet enough to bring it to the hospital this time! I have LOVED seeing everyone and its been the best medicine!
To keep incentivizing visits, we can promise you a chocolate or vanilla milkshake, a spin in my leg massagers, a blood sugar check (before or after the milkshake), a large selection of magazines and a seat in the rocking chair that lulls everyone to sleep!
As for future updates, here's a list of future topics to encourage you to keep checking the blog!
- my mom's classic reaction when I finally told them what has happened (they just got back from europe on the 2nd)
- aaron's mom's visit- she arrives tomorrow!
- highlights from the BCS championship game
- creations from my art class- every thursday
- me learning how to knit from one of the nurses
- a special report on foods that spike my blood sugar

- a baby brady nursery preview
- a "who wore their scrubs best" photo editorial- nurses and doctors edition
I'm taking requests for additional topics.
Thanks so very much for sticking with us! Aaron is snoozing away so I think I'll join him.
Sweet dreams everyone!
Janet
